About Dominique Picquier

Dominique Picquier has been a staple of Juniper since opening our doors in 2007. This very special French line of bags and accessories has a loyal international following. People often discover her shop in Paris' historic district Le Marais and are captivated by the understated sophistication and functionality of her designs. When I found the shop I felt like I found a treasure and am proud to be one of the few shops in the U.S. stocking the line. Dominique Picquier was born on the island of Madagascar, raised in France and studied textile and graphic design at the Ecole National des Arts Decoratifs in Paris where she has lived since. Her prints are inspired by nature, featuring flowers, plants and leaves. The fabric and bags are made in France and are designed to last in construction and style. Dominique Picquier continues to be a Juniper favorite!

About H Fredriksson

"H Fredriksson is a collection designed with a modern, artistic and sustainable conscious purpose. Inspired by the dark psychology of Bergman Films and contemporary European painting, the collection has an air of melancholic beauty, drawn from the austere silhouettes of the Nordic landscape. The overall mood of the line is one of time and timelessness, yet the details, silhouettes and design breathe modern contemporary culture. Thru balancing tailored garments with over sized and loosely draped pieces she creates a juxtaposition that is the core of the H Fredriksson aesthetic. With a sense of past and present, the designer’s belief in traditional craft as well as in a future of new sustainable fabric technologies is marked in the mindful fabric choices of the collection. The collection is manufactured in New York City using sustainable fabrics and production methods. The Swedish designer Helena Fredriksson lives and works in Brooklyn where she combines the two worlds into a sophisticated collection which reflects both the Scandinavian aesthetics of her upbringing and the multi cultured reality of living in New York City. She balances the fashion sense with her art background and brings the intricate nature inspired fabric prints, created from her photographs and drawings, into the collection for an intimate touch.  H Fredriksson has been worn by Cameron Diaz, Alek Wek, Ana Matronic among other dedicated followers." Souchi Trunk Show

With a little crispness in the air we are all the more excited for our upcoming  Souchi trunk show! Suzi, the sole designer of Souchi, creates pieces that will keep you cozy for years to come. Her philosophy is to use the best yarns available and construct pieces to withstand being a favorite piece in your closet.

Some of our favorite styles are the open cardigans, especially in the super soft luxe cashmere yarn that you will be happy to wrap up in for a few months out of the year! There are a lot of tempting sweater options as well as dresses, scarves, hats and arm warmers.
We hope you will come by on Saturday, October 20th from 11am - 5pm to meet Suzi and see all Souchi Fall/Winter 2012 styles.
